It took me a long time to find some of the best sites for digital scrapbooking on the web. I want to spread the word about my favorite places to find the things that I am looking for!
First things first:
To get the absolute MOST free scrapbooking papers and elements, Summer Driggs is who you want to pay a visit! Her website is http://summertimedesigns.blogspot.com/. She is so talented and everything she does is free!
Second:
Getting new fonts is fun and easy. Visit http://www.kevinandamanda.com/ and click on the Free Fonts link or go straight here: http://www.kevinandamanda.com/fonts/. They have the cutest fonts and they are all free to download and install. I use these, both fonts for peas and the free scrapbook fonts, for just about everything that I do! You will see this website credited all over mine!
Also, websites like 1001 Free Fonts is great for themed fonts. 1001 is a lot... you're bound to find what you are looking for!
Third:
Pixels & Ice Cream has great freebies and other embellishments and patterns that are very inexpensive (although, in the world of digital scrapbooking, nothing is horribly pricey). The website is: http://www.pixelsandicecream.com/.
Fourth:
Google is a wonderful tool for finding what you are looking for. Just Googling "digital scrapbook freebies" will open a world of free elements for your use. You can spend hours just downloading new elements!
Here are links to some of my other favorite digital scrapbooking websites:
A Cherry on Top
Designer Digitals
Digital Scrapbooking Freebies
Free Digital Scrapbooking
Shabby Princess
Two Peas in a Bucket
Printing your pages:
I do all of my pages 12 inches x 12 inches. The best and cheapest place that I have found for printing this size is Costco. I got that advice from a relative after visiting Wal-Mart and Office Max, only to find out that they didn't even print in 12x12. Costco does!!
Other Tutorials:
I learned a lot of the things that I know from watching free tutorials on YouTube. There is so much information on there that I would never pay for any tutorials. There are digital scrapbooking tutorials and Photoshop tutorials. Take a look and see what you might find!
